Starting with 2021, Unilever requested our Design & Build services for the relocation of their headquarters from Baneasa Business Center to Afi Lake-View - an office building located in the heart of the "business center" of the city and strategically benefiting from all the facilities of the area. The final goal of this move: restricting the space of Unilever bios to accommodate the company's new hybrid work schedule, but above all, attracting employees back to the office in the post-pandemic context, in a modern and welcoming setting, according to the company's profile.

The turn-key project signed by Workspace Studio is located on the surface of the entire 8th floor of the building, functionally divided into two compartments: body A which accommodates office areas in Open Space alternating with multiple and diverse collaboration areas; building B - an area dedicated exclusively to collaboration and events within the company. Body B extends to the outside with a spectacular terrace, arranged and designed also within the Workspace.

The 'corporate' visual identity defined by the Unilever Brandbook is mainly reflected in the common spaces - the Open Space and informal areas, the collaboration area (building B), through the specific colors and graphics, a variety of soft-seating solutions, architectural cladding and acoustic ceilings. Closed rooms - cafeteria and meeting rooms include the characteristic elements of the main brands included under the company's umbrella.

The neutral, modern, minimalist background, made up of hygge industrial-style open ceilings, the geometry and subtlety of the lighting fixtures, the sustainability accents - moss cladding, planters with flowers, wood essences from the furniture - unify and give coherence to the entire arrangement.

The result is a vibrant, powerful, dynamic workspace - which aligns globally with the Unilever brand.
