The new design of JGV & Associates office steers the renown law firm away from a traditional work environment and aligns them with their dynamic, collaborative and free-flowing workstyle.
Deciding to develop layering between the contemporary interpretation of Art-nouveau building and materials, textures, colours and the graphic elements was an important point of departure. The solutions needed to evoke the colours used in JGV corporate identity whilst also being unexpected, surprising, versatile and durable. By applying Carrara marble as an aesthetic accent, in walls and within furniture, instead of as a constructive material, the interior gained its own unique and specific quality, which was one of the goals of the project. The creation of large perspectives, elegant curtains for level terraces and round elements throughout the office space generated a surprisingly warm and homely quality that exudes craftsmanship and an eye for detail. Rich materials, expressive flooring and round shapes also contrast beautifully with the sleek and simple architecture qualities of the building.
