Initiated on November 2023, Swixx BioPharma’s new office design was implemented in only 3 months, when the company moved to Bucharest Business Park.
The company went for a largely open plan office organization, whilst closed offices were preserved for some departments and the management - as view of their working processes requiring more private & concentrated work.
Spontaneous, intensive communication and collaboration inside the team can lead to better results. Communicating beyond the traditional boundaries leads to faster processes through direct decision-making channels. In view of these key workplace findings, the space was designed largely open plan, having an open, transparent effect and foster communication and idea exchange between the groups.
Social and physical ergonomic became as important as product ergonomic – and they are supported with balanced privacy, flexible set ups and in between areas.
Grey tones and white insertions inspire calm and welcoming atmosphere, while green and blue offer a light and spacious effect to perspective. The visual tranquility found in the working area transforms into bold, tonic colors in the break-out areas, composing a strong contrast and a vibrant change in the office environment. The color accent used is bright red – also found in the company logo.
The result is a unique blueprint - following the activity-based-working method, which believes that individuals need to carry out tasks in different work settings, in a sustainable way.
